Wildlife Management & Nuisance Removal (WMNR)
Wildlife Management & Nuisance Removal handles any and
all nuisance wildlife complaints, plus we try to find long
term solutions to your wildlife problems. WMNR has personnel
with degrees in wildlife management and biology on staff to
help determine the best, most ecological and economical solutions to animal
removal and wildlife control.
Throughout the year, our staff attends training seminars and conferences to keep as informed and proficient in wildlife control as possible.
WMNR is owned and operated by Gregg Schumaker, licensed by the state of Michigan and is fully insured.
WMNR is certified and/or participating members of:
Gregg Schumaker has over 20 years
of experience working in the wildlife field. Gregg received
an Associated in Applied Science from Haywood Community College
in Clyde, North Carolina, noted for its wildlife management
program, and attended Lake Superior State University's wildlife
biology program.
Gregg continues his education through classes and conferences,
including the Wildlife Control Technology's annual seminars
and the Michigan Animal Damage Control Assocation's annual
seminars.
Gregg has successfully completed:
- Safe-Capture's Chemical Immobilization of Animals course
- Purdue University's Professional Trapper course
- National Goose Management Training Academy
- Bird Barrier Certification Course
Gregg's experiences include working as a fur-bearer research
technician for the Michigan Department of Natural Resource
- Wildlife Division, as a wildlife technician for the National
Park Services on Assateague Island, Maryland and as a full
time wildlife control technician for the USDA Animal Plant
and Health Inspection Service - Animal Damage Control in North
Carolina.
Gregg is currently:
Josh Raese attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned a Bachelors of Science double majoring in wildlife and biology with a minor in resource management. Josh has worked for Iowa State University, University of Wisconsin, Wisconsin DNR Wildlife Division, United States Fish and Wildlife Service, and the University of Minnesota as a wildlife technician.
Josh Raese has worked for Wildlife Management and Nuisance Removal since 2008. He grew up in southwestern Wisconsin spending as much time as possible outdoors pursuing fish and wildlife. Josh is an avid and accomplished outdoorsman, hunter, angler, and trapper.
